This is right at the end of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, so highly recommend coming a bit before sunset to hit up the lookout spots along the trail afterwards or to just watch the sunset outside the restaurant. We ordered the lobster roll, lobster poutine, chowder, mussels, and spinach dip. Everything was fantastic and you can go wrong with any of those choices. Service was also exceptional and a big shout out to our waitress for being awesome!

One of the Best seafood chowders I’ve had, And I have had a lot. There were 4 in our party and had lobster roll and fish burger as well. You need to stop here on your way through the Cabot Trail. !! Very nice restaurant right on the water . Thank you to all the staff for a great experience!!

My wife and I stopped here for lunch during our travels, and I sure am glad we did. The fish and chips were excellent. My wife had the lobster roll (which I tried), and it was excellent as well. The scenery from here is beautiful as well. Great service in a welcoming atmosphere. A must try in my eyes.

We ordered lobster roll which more like "Naked Roll".. Chunks of lobster topped with seasoned butter. Was very good! Fresh and tasty! Seafood chowder was delicious. Creamy but not thick.

Pretty good food for the price, the portions were decent as well. I had enough to bring home for dinner! I highly recommend the fish burger and the poutine. The fries were really fresh out of the fryer. We were a little slow getting started, the waitress didn’t realize we were in her section until like 10 minutes into us sitting and waiting. If you’re lucky to get a seat near the window, you’ll get an amazing view. They have some pretty cute decor inside as well. Bring a sweater because inside it’s kindof cold.

I recently dined at Rust Anchor Restaurant, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and relaxing. It really set the tone for a pleasant dinning experience. The food was well prepared and presentation was beautiful The portion size were adequate I found the price to be reasonable Overall, I was satisfied. I would recommend to others

Was a little concerned it might just be generic. NOT SO! Food was amazingly fresh and cooked perfectly. Did haddock and scallops. So awesome! Will go back 10x!

Lovely restaurant with an amazing view and great food. The service is excellent! I highly recommend it if you’re doing the Cabot Trail.
